A woman with long, wavy brown hair sitting on the floor behind a wooden chair, resting her arms on the top of the chair, wearing a black sleeveless top and black pants, with a light gray background.
A woman wearing sunglasses and a black athletic outfit is holding a medal and smiling at a marathon event. She has a blue jacket draped over her shoulders, and a race bib numbered 62077 is pinned to her shirt. The background shows other runners, event staff, and a finish line banner that reads 'TCS New York City Marathon'.

Liz Vassey took a flying leap into the entertainment industry as a toddler.

Okay, at the age of 9. Same thing. Since then she has never looked back. Liz began by focusing on acting and singing - and now, most recently, writing and directing. Basically this is all in an effort to earn the label of “hyphenate,” since she thinks that sounds fancy. Take a look around to see what she’s done in the past, is doing in the present, and plans to do in the future.

Liz Vassey joined the cast of ALL MY CHILDREN at age 16, earning her first of two Daytime Emmy nominations.

Since the soap, Liz has appeared as a regular or recurring character on fourteen television shows including ER, TWO AND A HALF MEN, MAXIMUM BOB, NECESSARY ROUGHNESS, BROTHERLY LOVE, NCIS: LA, FOX’s live action version of THE TICK, the reboot of THE TICK on Amazon, and, most recently, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS. Liz is probably best known for her five year run on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION as “Wendy Simms.”

In addition to acting, Liz is an accomplished writer. She has sold eight television pilots, and a TV movie - developing for such networks and studios as Netflix, NBC, Freeform, CW, Warner Brothers, Universal, and CBS Studios, with notable producers like Todd Holland, Kapital Entertainment, Mayim Bialik, and Krysten Ritter. Liz was featured on the auspicious Write Her List, in which 20 pilots are selected from hundreds of nominations from industry executives and creatives. She currently has several projects in advanced development, including a feature film, a musical, and her first novel.

An avid runner, Liz made her directorial debut with the documentary feature, THE HUMAN RACE, which focuses on unlikely athletes. It was named by Runner's World as one of "The Top Twenty Best Running Documentaries That Will Inspire You to Move."
